It can be done, but there are some significant hassles with the linkage.
The HS6 throttle shafts turn the opposite direction, and the linkage
connects in the middle between the carbs. Choke linkage is different too,
you'll have to either build something or use a TR4-style choke cable (with
two ends).

Should be able to make it at least idle with almost anything, but I don't
know how drivable it will be with those.
