In talking with a friend of mine tonight that has a '76 TR6, he had been
having problems with gas leaking from the front carb and vacuum leaks. It
was suggested to disconnect the carbon canister cause it could be plugged.
He was also told the charcoal should be replaced yearly.

He disconnected the canister and all is much better. Lots more pull to the
engine. The questions that came up were:

- if one was to replace the charcoal, where do you go to get it?

- if I disconnected the one on the spit6 (gt6+ motor), what difference would
I notice?

- is it even a good idea to remove it at all?

Thanks in advance
