Ahh yes.... but then there's India Pale ale.
Actually some of the best is brewed under the centuries old Pure food act in
Germany Nothing but barley, water, yeast and hops is allowed. When I lived
there, the only place you'd find a bud was at the American forces px. But
then most american servicemen/women (I said MOST not ALL) never really
ventured into the community. They really liked their JC Pennys Bud, Millers
etc on base. Pity.
