Well, of course, you were all completely correct. My alignment was WAY OFF
and was making the tires squeal. It turns out the drivers side tie rod had
it's locking nut come loose and it opened the wheel up to a horrible angle
(think Marty Feldman when looking at the alignment from the front). For now,
I've just set them up more or less in line by sight --- and the car drives
great. Next step is find a shop to fine-tune the setup.
