Hi Blake
The trim can be fitted to the rubber once it is installed with the aid of
the correct tool, the books generally have a pic of the tool, I will scan it
if required. It took me about 2 hours to get the second trim in! The first
one is now an odd shape! The third trim took about 45 mins and the second
screen I did took about 30 mins per side. I wonder at the mentality of an
"expert" that was trying to fit the glass to a steel reinforced frame!
You do need the correct tool and some soap for a lubricant, avoid wash up
liquids as they may be detergent based and can accelerate rubber
deterioration as well as being bad for the paint.
Definition of expert pronounced ekspurt, ex as in something that has been,
spurt as in drip under pressure!
