I guess having new windows sewn in is not one of your options??
Years ago on a budget I went to the reuphoster and bought the clear plastic
window for $20.00 and using my moms sewing machine (and about 7 needles!)
sewed the new one in - then cut the old one out - and it is still great shape
to this day.
My point being, maybe you could have window replaced and keep the proper
fitting top.
Ps; I agree with the beige interior being a great color (like my TR4) - I
thought there was a German maker that let's you pick the exact shade inside
and out but don't have name handy - might be ColorFast?
I bought the beige strapping from TRF.

>>I have the original top for the car. The vinyl is is fair shape, but the
clear windows are opaque gold. The inside side of the top
is canvas and has a tan (sandalwood, I suppose) color with 2 matching tan
straps running front to back. The hood sticks are
painted the same color. I really like this color scheme. I have another
car with an aftermarket top which is black vinyl on the inside.
Does anyone know where I can get the correct tan (sandalwood) inside color
vinyl top and the tan straps? I can not tell from
the ads in the big 2 or 3 to tell if any of them are actually correct.<<
