Hi Bill,
I installed an aluminum flywheel last summer when I rebuilt the engine
on my TR4A. I solicited input from the list, and no one had anything
negative to say. Since I made a lot of other changes at the same time,
I can't really tell you what just the flywheel change accomplished, but
I can say that I don't see any downside. The engine does rev much more
freely, and I have not had any driveability problems.
