just a couple of quick comments:
1. The donuts are probably the cause...if not, they should probably be
replaced anyway. Remember, they must be replaced with the retaining bands in
place. :')
2. Check all bushings and have the whole car aligned (as is good practice any
time you purchase a car).
3. Shift linkage often goes sloppy. Bushes come as a kit and are replaced in
about 15 minutes (after two hours of removing carpet, gearbox cover etc)
4. Interior does get hot, but shouldn't be that hot! Check exhaust manifold
for leak. Check heater..is it on? Are air hoses hooked up to eyeball vents?
I have often installed a "fresh air tube" directly from in front of the rad to
one of the eyeballs to channel fresh air into the cockpit.
