Some good advice has been offered. Buying or selling a motor vehicle title is
neither ethical nor legal. In Virginia it is a felony to possess a VIN plate
not attached to the car it left the factory on, it is a felony to remove a VIN
plate or to alter a VIN plate. In Viriginia it is also illegal to buy or sell
a vehicle without a title. ...
Gary or anyone that knows the state of Virginia's ruling if a person
owned a NY TR4 but doesn't own a 'Title'? In that time period NYS did NOT have
'tittles', only Reg.. So now what's a person to do?
