A few words to the wise (and the NOT so wise): never EVER use your S.O.'s
kitchen shtuff in the garage, never buff or polish parts in the S.O.'s
kitchen on cold static-ey days, never clean a cylinder head in the S.O.'s
dishwasher, never powder coat small parts in the S.O.'s toaster oven and the
dining room table is a truly dumb place to disassemble an engine block 2
days before Thanksgiving dinner is to be served...
...and suck it up and look the other way when the S.O. uses your new
screwdriver to open a paint can and bi*tches up the tip since someday you'll
forget the collective wisdom of the newsgroups and do one of the dumb things
listed above and it may provide some small measure of defense! (the offense,
not the screwdriver...)
BTW- I've only personally committed ONE of the above offenses but I've seen
the others confessed to at various times. And as to sifting used abrasive
media, nobody has ever found the missing screen from that little window in
my laundry room...

Hi Dave
I use a normal household sieve from swmbo's domain, don't return it they
will notice the difference but will likely not miss its disappearance for
months!
What goes through the sieve is too small to be of use, whilst you are
shaking it to get the dust out pick the large flakes of paint rust etc off
the top. Takes a while but keeps you out of trouble! (except if she sees you
with her missing sieve!) ;-(
Graham.
