Hi Noah:
Sorry Brian but the battery for the 4 is a group 27 (that is the original size
for the 2 through the 4A). Why not go all the way and order a group 27 with
the embossed LUCAS name from Antique Battery Co. in Cleveland? A group 24
will work (and easier to find) but it just does not fill the allocated space
and it just looks wrong because of that gap.
Plus, as Brian mentioned the battery hold downs function correctly.
