Bear in mind with reproduction parts that there will be numerous sorces. Items
like bootlid and door handles aren't reproductions in the true sense - they are
produced using original tooling by Weston Body Hardware, the descendant of the
original manufacturer Wilmott Breeden. As such the quality is (in my
experience) far higher than that found on the reproduction bumpers which
originate in the far east.
All things being equal, If a good quality part is available then buy new,
otherwise rechrome.
    Cheers,
        Bill.
