I just pulled the engine on the TR3. I bolted on the rear lifting bracket
because it wasn't mounted on the engine. I've got a question about it though.
It looks like the lower mount on the bracket bolts between the rear exhaust
maniford and the manifold nut. The top appears to go between the right rear
head stud nut and the head. It seems like the bracket is too crude to go
between the head and the nut. Seems like with all the torque requirements,
grade 8 nuts and washers that the lifting bracket would have to be precision
machined as well. It is kind of swarfed up.
     Am I missing something here?
