Help identify a vehicle

My father in law asked me to try to find out what type of car his
Grandfather was driving in a picture that he had. He told me that he
thought it was British.. I didn't' know so I'll ask the list.  The car
is on my web site as the featured car of the month.

 

Take a guess. I sure don't know
