Does anyone have any idea why oil would
backup (IE: not drain readily) in just ONE of the tappet
pockets down inside the head. With the valve cover
removed, looking down on top the tappets, oil is not
draining out of the #4/5 cyl tappet area.
I notice I'm getting a bit of oil leaking out along the head/
block seem (at the head gasket) right in this area.
Since it's not a compression issue, I have to believe it's
simply backing up and leaking out.
Where is the drain hole down inside the tappet areas?
