Original Mustang: Classic. The mechanically almost identical Falcon Sprint or
Futura? I'd vote classic, but....
The Spitfire (/GT6/TR250)? Classic, of course! The mechanically almost
identical Herald (/Vitesse/2000 sedan)? Again, I'd vote classic, but....
E-Type? Sure. Mk 10 or 420 sedan? Well....
Where does one draw the line? Will Ford station wagons make the cut, or would
they stop below Country Squire...or Country Sedan...or allow the Ranch Wagon?
Or will they adhere to the "classic" definition of "classic" and cut off
anything after 1942 or so? :-)
And who's to say that a Datsun B-210 Honey Bee or Oleg Cassini Edition AMC
Matador might not be a classic in the eyes of a loving owner?
I wish "them" luck in their definitions; hopefully SB 708 won't be worth
losing a lot of sleep over.
