I don't know what you eastern weenies are whining about. Be thankful you
don't live in Badger Newfoundland. Don't know if their plight has made the
american media but this is a town that has rivers on three sides. The
benevolent Abitibi paper company opened it's upstream dam after the rivers
had frozen over causing a massive ice dam which in turn caused a massive and
rapid (read immediate) flooding of the town. Imagine your living room full
of water turning to ice and spring thaw a full 6 to 8 weeks away. Now
imagine your TR in a block of ice with the prospect of all that ice moving
and bumping and grinding your house, garage, TR, life... into oblivion. Now
go and shovel your snow and count your blessings one shovel-full at a time..
