Apparently, I planned my engine rebuild apropriately (well almost). Last
ride out I blew a hole in #3 piston so a couple weeks early the engine
rebuild begins. While in progress I intend to send the 175 CDs out for a
complete rebuild. CMS has set in and I need a name for the best rebuilder. I
know there have been a couple recommended over the years. Also, what about
an oil pump rebuild. Still have the original and I'd just as soon keep it if
a rebuild is possible.
Clutch will be in the works and again CMS. Wonder Clutch? or what else.
Rocker Arm Specialists for the valve rockers?
This will be major rebuild time. 150,000 miles on this block since the last
rebuild and the beastie now clocks 316,000 total miles. Undoubtably will
require resleeving of cylinders as they were already bored 40 over. Should I
go with back to original specs or go for oversise again? Anything else I
should be considering? TIA for any and all info!
