Don't know what laws are like in Canada (or even other parts of the
US), but there may be an environmental issue with just dumping them.
Monitors in particular (so I understand) contain quite a bit of
poisonous stuff, and the rest might be hazardous too. Many places
here have begun PC recycling programs primarily intended to keep them
out of landfills. Of course, I'm not an environmental hazards
engineer and I don't play one on TV.
