The SPC does identify them as "driver's side" and "passenger side", rather
than left and right, which suggests that they were simply installed on
opposite sides for LHS vs RHS.  The springs are otherwise interchangeable
(which prompted the original question).

Note that it's actually the passenger's side that changed P/N, the driver's
side remained the same.  Bill Piggott also commented that it was a slightly
softer spring on the passenger's side, "presumably" to level the car.

I'd guess the reason the other leaves were not listed is because they rarely
fail.  The main leaves do seem to be a problem, my current car had both of
them broken when I got it, and ISTR Steve Hedke reported that Scrappy has
broken at least one on every race.
