Like many others, I'm sure, I "lost it" in my father's car, long before I
owned my own. It was a 59 Buick Invicta. Dad had bought it second hand from
somebody who was fond of a particular Nash Rambler attribute and had
modified the Buick. Yup, it was "pulmanized". You pulled two pins and had a
queen sized bed!  Best part of it was nobody, least of all my girlfriends
parents, expected this in a Buick.
