Check around your area for a rear end specialist and have your current diff
rebuilt. Get references. A local rebuild in my experience will cost much
less than an off the shelf unit. Mine had a one year warrantee on parts and
labor. I had mine (TR-6) done locally in N Cal after it went belly up looing
a tooth on the pinion that ltereally toasted the ring and pinion. Parts are
available, repalcement of ring, pinion all bearings and seals ran me less
than $1000 USD. What a difference a tight rear end makes ;-).

Subject: Differential Rebuilt?
I'm thinking about purchasing a reconditioned
differential for my Triumph. Can anyone shed some
light on experiences they had in this area? I would
hate to end up with a unit that is just as noisy and
loose as the one I have. I've gone the used route
and that didn't work.
