When I rebuilt my instruments (cleaned, etc) on my TR6, I noticed that a
couple of the green plastic shades that actually provide the green glow were
melted off (the bulbs are all clear). I found the correct color of
translucent paint specifically for glass at Wall-Mart for under $2.00.
Worked very well. Two or three coats should do it.
