Well..........having seen the car in person many times.....I can tell you it is
simply magnificent. Obviously the lister doesn't know Triumphs well. The car
is built on a GT6....not sure what year. I'd love to have it, but
unfortunately there is no room at the Jester Inn.

Subject: Bermuda Special Roadster is back!
I happened to be cruising eBay, when I spied that lovely
mahogony-bodied
car- the Bermuda Special. This car has been discussed on the list
previously and at the risk of beating a dead horse, or otherwise being
a
twit- can anyone figure out how a guy that wants to get somewhere in
excess
of a hellalot of money for a one-off body can be so screwed up about
the
origin of the drivetrain? I refer you to
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1875188376&category=6469
wherein the guy refers to the donor as being a 1967 TR6. Hello???-----
Not that there is anything wrong with the car- if that's what you want.
Personally, I like the looks and the fact that under the hood lurks a
TR
motor. But to say it's from a '67 TR6- Jeez, caveat emptor.
I think I'll go look for a bad copy of a reprint of something, like,
say-Kas Kastner's tuning manual and maybe pay about 35 Euros for it.
