I took my Herald for a quick ride to the store- forgot to get potatoes for
the T-day meal... Anyway, here in southern NJ it was about 35-40F- and I
drove over in my usual fashion- top down, heat on, with a good jacket and my
AOPA ball cap & gloves on. Felt great- got lots of looks from people in
other super-heated closed cars... I think they were jealous! I wonder what
the temp was with the wind chill factor for 50mph... Whatever, it was a
great ride. Had some Dave Brubeck on the CD for a change. This car is just
too fun to drive. Once I finish building the convertible top, I'll be able
to drive it anytime- I am looking forward to topless snow driving. :)
