This looks suspiciously like an oil pressure switch-

this description on a tech bulleting sounds like it too

leaked that way too!

This switch was furnished as a brake pressure switch. It failed under
hydraulic pressue. Doesn't look like one to me. What does it appear to be to
you? Note the 3 terminals.
