Getting them to fit is difficult at best. I remember doing this
on my GT6+ and deciding that I needed to remove some of the hardened
padded dashtop near the windscreen - that was the only way I could
push it in far enough to get the front lip to be solidly supported,
and for the vents to line up.

Use a sharp knife and protect the windshield seal.
