A wee bit late , but AFAIK the early Spitfires ( Mk 1 and 2 ) used the same
switch as the early TR 4 . Hope that helps a bit .
Kind regards .

Brian, Good luck with this. I know a fellow who has been looking for a
couple of years for one of these with no luck. Some will say it's the same
as a TR4A thru 6 but it is not. Those switches can be used in place of the
one for a TR4 however. In your search now that you have a part number from
Randall see if you can cross it with use on another car of the same vintage.
Something tells me a Sunbeam used the same switch for something (OD?).
I have a catalog from an English supplier and it has a switch that looks
like it could be the correct one and I'll check to see if the numbers match
up (now that I have a number) later tonight.

PS TRF had a few and sold them about 2 years ago. They went for around $100
bucks I think.
