Hi,
I just received the Heritage Certificate for my car, 1974 TR6 CF20293UO.
I'm just confused by it a bit. I don't know if it was because of the way
I submitted it or not.
On the website application form there are fields for commission #, engine #
and body #. I filled in all three values, because at the time I thought
they were all correct.
But according the the Moss catalog, engine #CF36531UE began for 1975 models,
while the commission # for my car makes it a 74 (March 74 according to the
certificate).
One thing I'm wondering is if the Heritage Certificate is correct in listing
that engine # for my car, or is that engine # there because I entered it
on the application form?
I suppose it's possible that a 74 car could have been built with a 75 engine,
or that the Moss catalog is incorrect.
(One more strange thing is that on the certificate the engine # has an
"he" suffix, even the the engine block has "UE", and that's what I
entered.)
Obviously all this doesn't really make any difference, but I am curious,
especially if it's just listed because of the way I filled in the form.
