This is really for an LBT (little British tractor), but it's pretty similar
to a TR2/3/4 engine -
I have I think finally got the low speed screw/high speed screw/governor
linkage iterative adjustment process to where the engine runs as it should
(i.e. without hunting) through the whole range of rpm (450-1800). Now
however I frequently hear a popping sound through the air intake. It is not
regular but happens often.
Any ideas? I definitely have slop in the distributor shaft - could it be
related to that?
Thanks,
Jim Wallace
