Straight will do and probably help with possible noises from the
intermediate hitting the chassis rails from vibration. It will be louder.
The center pipe goes from the downpipe off the manifold to the rear muffler
box. The center pipe has a small round muffler built into this section. The
rear box should have two tips coming out of it.
