Thanks everyone that kicked in with a bit of info. Yep there are companies that do it...but for big $$$ Since I have a couple of Spit 4 cyl tachs laying around here I'll convert one myself. It's a simple project. I'll post details as usual, on my web site. I plan on making the conversion 'switchable' so it can be done to handle 4, 6 or 8 cylinders. Like I thought, it's nothing more than a couple of inexpensive timing components. thanks again.
