Spitfire tub worth?

Hi all,

I have an opportunity to buy a rust free '76 Spitfire tub off a fellow club
member. How much would I offer him for it?  It would of course need to be
completely stripped and repainted to match my car and it would need all new
rubber pieces as well. 

I might also be able to get the doors but that would be separate cost. How
much would you offer for those?
