I hope my memory is right on this - is it so that the head studs were a
smaller diameter on an TR2 or early TR3 than a later TR3?
If so is there anything wrong with using the later head gasket with the
slightly bigger stud holes on an earlier motor with the smaller studs?
Seems to me that once in place it isn't going to go anywhere.
If y'all insist I absolutely must use a early type head gasket, even though
I have a perfectly good brand new later one - are the earlier ones still
available?
Or, am I dreaming in technicolour? I am so deep into both tractor and TR
engines right now I can hardly remember which is for what.
