Well, first I'd check the rotor and dizzy cap again, to see if you've had a
reoccurrence of the breakage. If not, I'd start looking for the bad
connection or broken wire. One interesting test is to hook a test lamp or
voltmeter directly across the coil low tension terminals. With the points
closed and the key on, you should see 12v (lamp on). If you roll the engine
until the points open, you should see 0v (lamp off).
