windscreen is worth thinking about. I'd run out of money before I got the
aluminum panel, but I'd need it when sleeping in the car after getting kicked

of the house.
AFA making your own, I don't know if it's an early TR4 thing but there is a pair
of bolts on the rear inner wheel well on my '62 TR4 -- CT5018LO -- that are for
shoulder belts but that look like a great place to mount a windscreen. It
doesn't
seem like it would be that hard to fabricate a frame to mount to those bolts,
with a plexi screen to reduce the wind. But I don't get a lot of highway miles
and don't mind the wind that much anyway, so I haven't tried.
