The LaDawri was a kit car built in SoCal, all right. I owned one that
had a flathead Ford power plant, and sold it to a collector in Portland.
You bought the shell, which was manufactured to fit a variety of
frames, including TR, and supplied your own power plant. Mine was
simply too small a fit for me, despite the fact that it was fairly large
on the outside. Note the spelling difference from the ad. The cockpit
was similar to an earlier Corvette. The cars ran the gamut from a
finished product to simply the body shell, depending on your taste and
pocketbook.
