Joe,
Check the frame rail around the trailing arm mounting bracket where you hear
the popping/snapping......the metal is probably cracked or in the process of
cracking hence the noises when it's stressed.....this is not one of those
noises you can ignore......if it goes away, it could mean that a crack opened
completely and you've lost integrity between the frame & the mounting
bracket.....not a good thing!
