I have seen many old time mechanics adjust valves with the engine running (not
me), I never could understand how he could get the feeler guage in & out for a
good accurate reading, but, like I said I have seen this many times, and I
have to agree with what Michael Porter posted, what book says what for T/R's
and only T/R's.  "FT"
