It could be either one. Its more likely in the motor. The motor has a
parking switch which is probably dirty. I'd start there.

Subject: TR& Wipers Will Not Stop
The windshield wipers on my TR7 will not turn off and park when the switch
is moved to the off position. How do I correct this? I currently have one
of the leads pulled out of the mating connector so that the wipers do not
move. Is this a switch or a motor problem?
