Admission of ignorance, plea for help

So when I bought the Harbor Freight engine stand, I figured it would be a snap 
to attach the engine, and wheel it around the shed like a baby carriage.
Wrong.
Shameful admission of ignorance: How does the engine stand attach to the (TR3B) 
engine?
