I did not know about the flasher unit dependence on the filament, so I
would have to change the turn signals also.
After, I figured out I could not do it through software :-)I called my
dad.
He is the EE in the family. He said it should be pretty easy to do.

I have been thinking about this too for my TR3; the tail lights definitely
need to be a lot brighter. I have also been thinking those new white ones
might be good for instrument lighting. The trick will be to mount the
things. You will also have to get a new electronic turn signal flasher, as
the originals depend on the impedance of the bulb's filament.
