>Any TR8's out there?
I recently got one...well taken care of but high mileage.
Here's the problem:
When I hit the gas, the car does a little wiggle to one direction. When I
let
off, it wiggles to the other.
I'm assuming that the torque of the driveshaft is tweaking the rear end
(which
is steering the car) because something is worn.
Can anybody tell me what's whipped? Where do I get it/them? And any helpful
hints for performing the repair?
Thanks!

Hellow Charlie, this wiggle is probably due to worn rubber bushings on the
rear axle suspension arms. My 8 has none of this but I have replaced the
axle busings with polyurethane and the body bushings are in good shape
(although original) but I looked at one car that had lost the rubber
altogether on one of the arms so check it out.
BTW there is another list specifically for wedges, if you are interested.
Let me know if you are.
Cheers
Dave
