Hello Everyone,
I have a question about my clutch.
On my car, the arm moves very easily (so
esily that i could flick it, to move it) till one
spot, then it starts to do something, BUT**
It takes so long before it starts to do anything,
that the piston is already near the end of the
cylinder. It seems like the only way to fix it, is
by getting a longer rod, to push the arm. Now,
I read about this happening to one person, and
it turned out it was a broken fork pin, My question
is, how do I check to see if it is a broken fork pin?
Obviously I cannot shift to first or reverse, but if I
start the car in first, with the clutch in, then I can go
and shift in the other gears. This would be a symptom
of a broken pin, am i correct? I see it as, the fork is
rotating on the shaft, because the pin is broken. But it
catches on something at one point, and starts to work.
Im just thinking out loud here, so bear with me.
Any input or suggestions would be GREAT!
