Mark, we're not ignoring you, it's just that those with running cars are out
enjoying them, and those without are out working on them !
I've never worked on a TR6-style switch, but I have on a TR3 switch. IMO if
it's possible to buy a new one or a good used one, that's the only way to
go. Otherwise, you'll spend many days fiddling with it, think you've got it
right, and reinstall it only to find it quits again next week.
Chances are, Rimmer's will be running their "free shipping" special next
month ... in the meantime you can use your arm <g>
