I can't say as I've ever had reason to complain about "watertightness" of a
tonneau cover. The closest to an exception would be the factory tonneau cover
on a Herald/Vitesse convertible, which has no snaps along the doors. They
still keep even moderate rainfalls out of the interior, but it's a bit of a
trick to drain the cover before folding it back...without soaking the
interior, or your Reeboks, or.... ;-)
