Dear List,
I am in the middle of replacing the rocker gear on my TR6, and I have got
some questions:
- are the end caps that go over the shaft necessary? They weren't on the one
I took off, nor in the kit;
- I have 2 new end caps in the kit, that go inside the ends of the shaft,
but it seems to have them already fitted - does this seem right?
- Haynes has 24-26 ft-lb for the pedestal bolts, while the manual has 26-34.
Do I just compromise at 26, or is it not too critical?
