Hi again everyone,
In my continuing quest to do everything two or three times during this
engine rebuild, I've realized I don't know if the bushing in my flywheel
is present or not. I don't remember seeing anything that looked like a
bronze bushing or anything inside the flywheel when I bolted it on.
So, before I take the engine back off the stand, take the engine stand
mount off the backing plate, and remove the flywheel from the crank to
see if there is something missing from there, can anyone tell me what
one of the spigot bushes looks like?
Bentley shows it must be inserted from the rear of the flywheel so I'd
have is disassemble the above to get to it. I thought I had seen
somewhere that on later TR6s the bushing went in from the clutch side of
the flywheel, not the crankshaft side.
