I am the editor of the Detroit Triumph Sportscar Club's newsletter, 'The
Triumph Review.' I read and was moved by T.R. Householder's post last
week of his essay that had the subject line "Club lineage ... was TSOA" so
I wrote to ask him if I could reprint it in our newsletter. He kindly
agreed and I thought some of you might like to see it in print (along with
the rest of the issue.) We mail the printed copy to our members the first
week of each month, but post an Acrobat Reader version ahead of the
