My guess is that there might be a bit of buyers remorse here. The
winning bidder
obviously bid an extreme amount thinking that he would never have to pay
that, but
unbeknownst to him, there was a second highest bidder that also bid the
farm. If
we look at the facts: here's a fabric top with tears, a piece of glass
30 years old,
bent chrome trim, rubber seals covered in yellow paint, and paint that
matches
no one's car. The lucky winner will have another $1500 to $2000 into
this item before
it can be used. But alas, this is the nature of ebay. Sometimes emotion
rules.
But damn.... I wish I had that top. [:-)]
